The problem we're solving
In 2024, millions of people started getting their answers from AI—ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Copilot. These AI tools don't show a list of links. They synthesise an answer and mention specific brands, products, and sources.
For the first time, marketers and SEOs had a massive blind spot: they had no idea whether their brand was appearing in AI answers. Traditional SEO tools tracked Google rankings. But AI answers? Nothing.
We were running content and SEO for a SaaS company and realised our competitors were showing up in ChatGPT answers for our core keywords—and we had zero visibility into it. We tried to track it manually and quickly realised it was impossible to scale.
